Fair Trade Policy
At Hippie Pants, we believe clothing should be made fairly, responsibly and with respect for the people who make it. Our clothes are designed and produced in Thailand, working with local artisans and small-scale producers. We believe in fair wages, responsible production and a workplace free from child labour.
Below is our fair trade pledge to our customers. We try to perform well above these standards:

Guarantee that no children under the age of 18 make, or are involved, with our products in any way.

Fair wages for Thai artisans
We pay a fair wage to all workers that is always well above the national minimum average
We Prepay Our Artisans
Designers and seamstresses are paid in advance so they never have to go into debt purchasing materials.
Supporting Local Communities
Products are designed and produced locally, helping preserve Thai traditions and support rural communities.
