Product

What material are your products made of?
Our products are made of cotton or bamboo rayon. We don't use wool, silk or any animal byproducts.

Please check the individual product descriptions for details.

How can I be sure my items will fit?
Most of our products come in one size only. Our harem pants have a smocked waist and elasticated ankles. Mens pants have drawstring waists and fisherman pants are wrap around meaning they are one size fits most.

Our shirts are made to be worn baggy and come in M and L sizes.

Can I find this product in a shop in my country?
Our products are handmade in Thailand through our partnership with local artisans. They are not commercially available outside of the country and are not found in high street shops.
How should I wear these pants?
Our pants are genuinely versatile. You can wear them at home, to practice yoga, for dance classes, as casual fashion, ravewear or even pajamas. Many pregnant women find the thaiclassicpeacock and wrap pants extremely comfortable. Some of these can be worn as jumpsuits or as pants as you can see from our product photos.
What are the care instructions?
Our products are not pre-washed so the first wash is very important. Please hand wash separately in cold water. Follow these simple rules to get the best out of you trousers:

Do not hot wash.

Do not tumble dry.

Do not soak for long periods

Remember some shrinkage is normal for cotton and rayon garments, please allow for this.

Can I buy several pairs?
You can buy as many pairs as you like. If you make a large purchase please contact us to request a discount code.
I want to buy wholesale, is that possible?
Although we are setup to sell directly to customers, we are usually able to meet wholesale needs depending on the volume and frequency of your orders. Please get in touch with us to receive a quotation.

Plus Size

¿Do you have oversize / plus size options?
Sure, we do. We launched our plus size range in 2018 and will be adding even more options soon. Look out for the plus size options on the main menu.
¿Does your plus size range suit taller women?
No, our plus size range is baggier than the regular size but not taller in length. For tall women the best choices are Classic, Blossom, Thai or Peacock pants.
Why are some pants not available in Plus Size?
For production reasons we are unable to provide all of our pants in plus sizes. However we want to be as inclusive as possible and will be launching unique products available only in plus size.
What about plus sizes for men?
Unfortunately, we haven't yet launched a plus size range for men. Follow our blogFacebook or Instagram for updates.

Payment & Pricing

What currency do you charge in?
All our products are priced in USD. There is a currency selector at the bottom of the homepage which may be used to switch to a different currency. Although we may offer an indicative rate for your ease of understanding, only your bank, credit card or Paypal will be responsible for any conversion to your local currency.
Will I be charged any additional fees
For purchases from the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Africa and the Middle East and all other countries outside the Euopean Union, our prices always include any taxes and commission. Our prices also include free worldwide shipping and there will be no further hidden costs or additional charges

If you are customer in the EU or UK, you may be subject to a VAT surcharge according to the regulations for businesses of our type. This will be automatically calculated and displayed before you complete the checkout.

Which credit card can I use?
We accept all major credit or debit card such as Visa or Mastercard. US customers making purchases above $60 may split their payment interest-free via Sezzle. We also accept Paypal and bitcoin.
Do you accept Brazilian credit cards?
If you are from Brazil and using your home credit card we suggest you use our sister site which is made for the Brazilian market: Calça Thai
Can I pay in installments?
For orders over $60 we allow you to “Buy Now and Pay Later” with simple, interest-free installments. Simply choose Sezzle at checkout.

Gift Cards

How can I buy a gift card for a friend?
Once on our gift card page, you simply choose how much you want to spend and add it to your shopping card just like any other product. Then, continue to the payment page and proceed as normal.
When do gift cards expire?
Hippie-pants gift cards are valid for 6months. You can use them now or save them to buy future pants!

Shipping

Do you ship to my country?
We ship worldwide and always include free delivery in our prices. We have previously shipped to Zambia, Slovenia, Kuwait and Mauritius among many other destinations. If there is a local postal service, we can usually ship it. During Covid-19 period, some countries can only be serviced via courier.
Will I receive a tracking code?
All orders are shipped with tracking number. You will receive your code over email as well as messenger if you opted into that service at checkout. You may visit your order page at any time to check the code.
How long does my order take to arrive?
All items will usually be dispatched for shipment within 2 to 4 business days of receiving payment. This depends on the time to clear payments, timezones, picking, packing as well as courier pickup and local holidays if applicable.  Free shipping is by International Airmail and normally takes between 15 and 45 days but can take longer depending on the final destination. Customers wishing to receive their products quicker may upgrade to their choice of express shipping for an additional fee. We currently work with DHL, UPS & Aramex.
Where are the items located?
All items are located in Thailand from where they are packaged and shipped to you. If you add several items to an order they are usually grouped together and sent in a single package.
Can I request faster shipping?
Yes, we offer an express shipping option for those who need fast delivery. Customers wishing to receive by courier may upgrade to express shipping for an extra fee. We may upgrade you to another courier service if it shortens delivery time. We work with DHL, Aramex & UPS. Please note some of these delivery methods may require a signature upon receipt.
How do I know whether you have posted my package?
As soon as your products are in the post we will send you a tracking code. You may use this to track your parcel using your country's national postal service website. Alternatively you may use a third party service such as 17track.net
Will I be charged import tax?
Our customers are generally not required to pay any additional taxes but laws may vary depending on your specific location. There are not normally any issues with taxes or landing charges when arriving by airmail. Some countries may tax you when choosing courier delivery. If you have any doubts please consult the customs regulations in your local country.

Returns

What if the product arrives with a defect?
It is very rare for a product to have a defect but if this occurs we will of course allow you to return it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Please email us for instructions on how to return your item.
I want to return an item I bought a long time ago, is this possible?
We have a 7 day return policy. If 7 days have passed since your purchase arrived, unfortunately we will not be able to offer you a refund or exchange.
I bought the wrong product/color, what should I do? Can I cancel/change my order after I have made it?
No, once the order is made, it enters an automated system which ensures fast and efficient delivery and this means no further changes can be made. Please be sure to double check that your address and order items are correct before finalizing the purchase.
